Although I don't own one, I have heard some good things about the gaming capability of a Samsung Galaxy S4. They say it's comparable with console game play.

Its true I have the samsung s4 and its awesome for gaming. The only downfall is that it has no debugging capabilities for developers to test games with. The graphics when playing games is comparible to a small hd tv. Also it is very fast to I am happy with mine.

Check out Xiaomi models, they are good for gaming and pretty solid Android phones, just sold mine which I had for 1,5 year.
Xiaomi Mi4 is what I'll probably buy soon
