If you create a website on your desktop computer, how do you upload?

Let's assume that you use a desktop web publishing software, how would you upload it to your hosting company or server so that it would be live on the internet? Please provide solutions.

HI, i can solve your problem. You have to buy a domain name and hosting space to upload the website. Hosting space depends on your website size.
Or you can use a free domain with a sub domain and some free hosting to upload the files on internet and make the site LIVE.
If you want to do this job by me, i am available with minimum price.
Thanks

Filezilla is a good program to use. However, some host companies will allow you to directly upload HTML files from your desktop. Be sure to upload to the proper folder.

It’s quite simple. You will need a domain name and web space. After this you will need an FTP server so that you can upload your files and pages in your folder on the server. Filezilla is good to use as I have used it. If you create a website on your desktop computer, how do you upload?

People use a transfer process which is named the File Transfer Protocol.
FTP is a process which allows you to upload your files from the computer to the internet (to your hosting account), which is provided by your host. The FTP space is limited to your own hosting space you have. For example if you have 1G bandwidth, then you cannot use more space than 1G. Otherwise, you might get your hosting account suspended. For everything I have mentioned, try using Filezilla, and use the hosting accounts provided in your cPanel to upload your files. There, you must be good to go. Good luck!

Buy a domain and upload all the files. Next step will be to rename your homepage to index.html or redirect users to homepage when they type your site url. One you do it, wait for apprx. 24 hrs. After waiting time, you should be able to see your site on web If you create a website on your desktop computer, how do you upload?

SmartFTP is a good file upload program, though you will need FTP access which is usually just a username/password for your host space FTP. You can also use the built in FTP space that most host companies provide. This will save you a lot of time.
