I'd like to interject two more:
1) coursesweb.net -
a great programmer is there at the helm and I've learned a fair few concepts as well as had access to some AMAZINGLY powerful open-source (and freeware) scripts, and,
2) Stack Overflow -
A pre-eminent coding community where, sometimes, the theory flies at a rapid-fire pace, but if you're committed to advancing coding as a personal craft, you WILL end up here
(gotten more serviceable solutions from this site than anywhere else).
