    Which language is bettor in coming days I wants to prefer php is a user friendly language.Java is also important with quality and graphical representation. suggest your Ideas.

    Asking about which one is better, PHP or JAVA is rather relative. Both PHP and Java are perfectly fine languages. It really depends on the use case and what you want to do.

    Java is more applications on the desktop and PHP is normally focused more around online back-end stuff - so it depends on what you want to do.

    You'll need to know a lot of library to develop a strong web application with Java EE; with PHP it is a little bit easier! But Java is strong and a little bit more secure; why it is used by companies!

    PHP is easier, also secured and development take less time!

    I've been developing PHP, MySQL, Java Scripts for almost many years. I only know Java, JSP during school but I have no idea why many big companies out there don't use PHP, they only use JSP. It would be great and helpful if you have an answer for my question.

    Simple, it's slow and insecure.

    Okay, not so simple. What you might have noticed is that conventional companies (banks, corporations) don't use PHP because they are not in a mood to innovate and experiment.

    PHP is a dynamic language and was primarily designed for web which gives it a few limitations.
    JAVA on the other hand is faster because its compiled code and runs natively from byte code.

    PHP is discouraged because of how devs are used to getting their work done and not follow conventions (php is not strict at all).
    But it's changing. I am pretty proud PHP dev !

    Big companies do use PHP (Cisco, Digg, Facebook, Ebay, Flickr, Craigslist , GE, Google, Intel, NASA, Redhat, Sony, US Army, W3C, Wikimedia, Yahoo, Zynga...) .

    Not to mention the forum you are on (BB) is php & the site SEOClerks too.

    you can't compare java to PHP please .

    PHP is web Scripting language learnt to make functional websites with it .
    websites like seoclerk.com .
    while java is more Complicated it works for windows softwares ,as well android , and sometime for web

    JAVA is harder than php also ,

    Yes, it started off as a language to develop web applications. But, you would be far from correct if you say that's where it is at today.

    Well I know today you can do much more thing with PHP than web ,
    even making APPS , but it's never Good as for Web .
    for phone and windows apps it's totally not recommended .
