How do i get my CSS to be the same across all web browsers?

So I have several websites and in most of them, depending on what browser your using look different. For example, I use Internet Explorer all of the time, but I do also have Google Chrome on this computer, when I look at my website(s) using Chrome, it looks different, colours, sizes, etc.. than it does on IE, and other browsers change how it looks too. Is there a way I can get my website CSS to show exactly the same for my website no matter what browser my visitors are on? How do i get my CSS to be the same across all web browsers?

No matter what you do your website can never look identical to what it looks like in a different browser, all browsers phrase your websites data differently and linebreaks appear different in the Y positions. I noticed the Y position problem while making a page supported by IE7, IE8 and IE9+, also browsers have default styles ready for backup in case you never styled a certain thing on your website.
