How do i get my CSS to be the same across all web browsers?

So I have several websites and in most of them, depending on what browser your using look different. For example, I use Internet Explorer all of the time, but I do also have Google Chrome on this computer, when I look at my website(s) using Chrome, it looks different, colours, sizes, etc.. than it does on IE, and other browsers change how it looks too. Is there a way I can get my website CSS to show exactly the same for my website no matter what browser my visitors are on?

No matter what you do your website can never look identical to what it looks like in a different browser, all browsers phrase your websites data differently and linebreaks appear different in the Y positions. I noticed the Y position problem while making a page supported by IE7, IE8 and IE9+, also browsers have default styles ready for backup in case you never styled a certain thing on your website.
