Have you ever used the CSS file from another site as a template?

If you're stuck on where to start with CSS, you might try to modify the CSS file for another site; breaking it apart and looking at the elements, changing some things out. This could be a good way to learn more about CSS and even get inspiration for what to do on your own site. Have you tried this suggestion?

I do this a lot when making a new site or even changing my current site. It is very helpful when you can take CSS from sites that you like. Mesh 2 or 3 sites and you have a very unique design.

Modifying another site's CSS file is the best way to learn about CSS, rather than even reading blogs or books about it. The hands on practice with modifying CSS is a valuable lesson as a webmaster and will help you manage all your sites.
