This is a function that will return the Google +1 count a website has. It is a very simple function that should work with most hosts. It does require cURL to be able to use so make sure your host supports cURL.
This PHP function will connect to the Google RPC site and submit post data. The return data will be the Google +1 count as JSON. It then decodes the JSON and sends back globalCounts/counts. This is the total plusones that a website actually has.
I've tested this on many websites and domains, it works well. It can be used to quickly get the Plus One stats for a domain if you are listing vaniety stats for whatever reason.
